1、防爆电动葫芦主要由起升和运行电机，控制箱，控制按钮，限位器几部分组成。它们都是自成一体的隔爆型设备。

4、安装、使用的一般要求：

①电源线采用软缆式电源引入器接入。

②机械部件采取隔爆措施，为防止电动葫芦运行时摩擦，撞击产生高温火花，将有关部件作处理。

③为防止产生火花， 起升和运行减速器中要注入适量的机械油；卷筒、钢丝绳、吊钩滑轮轴承、车轮上、起升以及运行电动机也要涂润滑脂； 限位杆上的左右停止块和限位器的限位器接套要用镀青铜或不锈钢制成。
